2017 Brutale 800

MV Agusta has launched 2017 Brutale 800 in India with huge upgrades over its predecessor. The mid-weight offering from MV Agusta is much anticipated in Indian market with attractive price tag. The Italian bike maker is importing the bikes for Indian customers and will also provide after sales and service support. The motorcycle comes with a Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) unit tag, which comes bundled with fewer taxes as well. MV Agusta Brutale 800 price in India starts at Rs. 15.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

MV Agusta Brutale 800 2017 now comes with a sharper and tightly sculpted Italian design with all new fuel tank and LED DRL headlamps and new design tail lamp. The motorcycle looks more compact than the earlier version, and the maker has managed to hold the distinctive slash-cut triple pipe design on the 2017 Brutale 800.

Besides that, latest Bruatle 800 gets changes on the chassis font too. The wheelbase gets 20mm longer than the earlier version but still remains low in the segment. Suspension setup in the 2017 Brutale 800 includes 43 mm Marzocchi USD fully adjustable front forks and a fully adjustable Sachs unit on the rear. The twin 300 mm discs at the front and a 220 mm single disc at the rear are assigned for braking duties.

2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 drives power from a 798 cc inline three-cylinder unit. The engine now gets a host of internal changes which include new intake and exhaust cams, new pistons. The new exhaust system provides an improved torque response. The three-cylindrical motor generates 109 bhp power at 89 Nm torque. MV Agusta says above 80 per cent of the torque is available under 4000 rpm and peak torque churns out at 7600 rpm.

Motor Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS), MV Agusta’s rider assistance software takes places in the latest 2017 Brutale 800. The motorcycle comes with 8-level traction control system, 3-level ABS, and adjustable riding modes.

2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 will compete with the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple S, and the Ducati Monster 821 in India.
