Yamaha has silently launched the YZF-R15 in India with a minor update. The new AHO (Auto Headlamp On) feature is now available for the new arriving model. AHO function comes with the standard variant of the R15 Version 2.0 and R15 S.
The global launch of new Yamaha R15 V3 is ahead, and now Yamaha India has come up with this update by adding the new feature on R15 V2. This feature is also called as Always on Headlamps.
The new R15 which is currently available on the market is included with this headlamp switch. Nowadays you can commonly find this feature in the newly launched motorcycles in India.

Yamaha R15 comes with the built in delta box, which provides the rider with the top class riding dynamics. It is powered by 150 cubic capacity single cylinder liquid cooled four stroke engine which can produce maximum power of 17 PS at 8500 rpm and torque of 15 Nm at 7500 rpm. The transmission is managed by the six-speed manual gearbox of the bike. The conventional telescopic front fork and the rear mono shock handle suspension duties while the wheels are backward by the disc brake each.
This new Auto Headlamp On feature is quite simple; the motorcycle headlight is turned On when the ignition is On until the ignition is turned off. There is no headlight On/Off switch is present to perform this action.

By the way speaking about AHO, KTM bikes in India are the first bikes to launch with AHO feature. Recently this feature is included in the entry level motorcycles like Hero Splendor iSmart. This is the first Yamaha to get the AHO feature, and we can expect this feature in the future Yamaha line-up motorbikes.
As per the pricing, Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 2.0 comes with the price tag of Rs 1.18 lakh and another variant R15 S is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (Ex-Showroom) in Delhi.
