Yamaha has made its debut in 250cc motorcycle segment with the launch of all-new FZ25 in India. The motorcycle is priced at very competitive price of Rs. 1,19,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest Yamaha FZ25 put the brand forward along with existing FZ urban. Here we provide you everything about the all-new FZ25.

Yamaha FZ25 drives power form 249 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which pumps out 20.6 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bike is equipped with a mono shock suspension setup at the rear and telescopic front forks. The 282 mm front and 257 mm rear disc brakes perform breaking duties. You also get full LED headlamps along with AHO tail lights. The diamond type frame motor cycle weights around 148 kg.

Yamaha incorporates BlueCore technology and claims 43 kmpl mileage in return. Yamaha FZ25 is available in three colors - Warrior White, Ballistic Blue and Knight Black. The ground clearance of the vehicle is at 160 mm, and the fuel tank capacity is about 14 liters.

Few parts which are common in Yamaha line up like footpegs, number plate holder remains same to keep the costs low. Yamaha FZ25 comes equipped with an LCD instrument cluster and borrows design cues from FZ.  The 250 cc motorcycle gets naked sporty looks with the bigger MT series wheels.

Recalling the legacy, FZ series of motorcycles launched way back in 2008 was a huge hit with its beefy looks. The latest FZ25 is an expansion to the FZ range in India with upgraded engine and body. The 200cc-250cc motorcycle segment in India has found a rapid growth attracting the young users. Mostly, the bikes ranging from Rs.1 lakh to Rs. 2.5 lakh have observed a growth by 20 percent over the last four years.

Yamaha claims the newly launched FZ25 will be a tough competitor in the segment with the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220, KTM 200 Duke, Honda CBR250R, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. New Yamaha FZ25 will be available across the chain in India starting this February.
