A Gujarat-based business person said that he will provide the financial support for the children of 18 Army soldiers who are martyred in the terror attack on an army camp in Kashmir’s Uri region on Sunday.

Mahesh Savani, a philanthropist of PP Savani Group, has decided to provide the funds for the children of martyred in the attack. He also mentioned that he will provide education till graduation and will also take the responsibility of the marriages of the martyred URI braveheart soldier’s daughter.

Savani said that he was touched when he saw one of the soldier’s daughter was crying on Television. “I read on paper and heard a daughter of the Uri Brave heart in one of the television shows. We have decided that we will sponsor the education of all the children of the 18 martyrs,” Savani told ANI.

“Besides this, we will also bear all the cost for the marriage of their daughters. We will ask the government to tell us the details of their families and their addresses, and then a five-member team from our group will go to their respective houses,” he added.

The condemnable attacks took away the lives of 18 brave heart soldiers, and more than 20 got injured. The terror attack made on army camp close to the headquarters of the 12th Brigade in Uri at Baramulla district. It was one of the worst attacks in recent times.

Thousands of people from Surat of 111 different institutions have gathered at one place to pay their tribute to the Uri Brave hearts on Wednesday. Various Doctor Associations, Lioness Club, Rotary Club and other organizations have organized Maun rally to pay their respect to the soldiers.
