The Telangana State Government proposed to recruit 17,000 posts of government teacher and invite the applications during this year. Telangana State Public Service Commission will soon issue the notification for the TSPSC Teachers Recruitment said Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari.

According to the reports, over 8000 candidates are going to recruit for the teacher post in the newly setup 529 residential schools. Earlier, the recruitment was also released to fill these 8000 vacancies, but due to some issues the recruitment was withdrawn, and the process stopped.

“We have revised them (qualifications) and sent back to State Service Commission. Besides, another 8,972 government teacher posts will be filled, and necessary instructions have been given to Telangana State Public Service Commission. So, a total of 17,000 posts will be filled soon,” added Kadiyam Srihari.

The officials said that there is an improvement in the education quality, biometric attendance, qualitative teacher training and also regular academic monitoring by the state-level schools. As per the annual reports of education in the state, there was a significant improvement in the education of Class III students of government schools.

The performance level has increased to 42.5 percent as compared to the percent in 2014 (40.2 percent). For the previously released the TSPSC Teachers Recruitment, the officials mentioned that only first class graduates of OC category are eligible to apply. However, the Commission allowed the second class graduates of SC/ST/BC category to apply.
