Toyota has launched the updated 2017 Camry Hybrid sedan in India. The premium offering from Toyota costs Rs 31.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes with minor cosmetic changes. Besides that, the car maker has also re-launched the fourth-generation Prius in India with a price tag of Rs 38.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch of both these models happens the cumulative global hybrid vehicle sales of Toyota crossing the 10 million mark.

Toyota Camry powered by advanced and eco- friendly Hybrid Synergy Drive technology is the first and only strong hybrid luxury car made in India. Launched back in 2013, the car made reasonable sales in Indian market with over 95 per cent hybrid version. The sedan continues to get power from 5 litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which is paired with an electric motor. The engine churns out a maximum power of 202 bhp, and the electronically controlled CVT unit handles the transmission duties.

Latest 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid sports similar looks of its predecessor with few minor cosmetic changes and new features. On the front, you observe a pair of stylish new LED fog lamps and revised LED headlamps with projection lights. The bigger 15 spoke Alloy wheels add sporty character to the car. Toyota Camry 2017 will be available in the six existing colors namely White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, True Blue Mica Metallic, Dark Brown Mica Metallic, Gray Metallic and Attitude Black.

The cabin in the Toyota Camry hybrids 2017 packs some new features like Navigation, Premium Audio with 12 JBL speakers and Wireless Smartphone Charger. The luxury sedan includes auto folding & reverse linked ORVMs with memory. The zebra wood finish ornamentation and Comfortable reclining rear seats add great look to the interior.

The best in class 9 SRS airbags and a driver knee bag ensures a great safety on Camry 2017. Other safety features include New Back Guide Monitor, New Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Impact absorbing vehicle body, rear seats complying with ISOFIX standard, New Emergency Brake Signal, vehicle stability control with Traction Control & Hill start to assist control.
