Tata Motors has unveiled the much anticipated Tigor compact sedan at an event in Delhi. The carmaker has showcased the latest launch Tigor and announced all the details of the car. Earlier, Tata had revealed the Tigor special edition at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. However, the release details and price of Tigor are the only unknown things after the event.

Discussing the specs, all new Tata Tigor, the compact sedan will be rolled out in two engine variants. The petrol and diesel engines are the same as of the earlier release Tiago hatchback.

The diesel engine variant gets power from the Revotorq 1.05L motor that is capable of producing 70PS at 4,000 rpm. The engine produces 140 Nm of peak torque between 1,800 and 3,000rpm. The 1047cc motor is mated to a 5-speed manual gear box which drives power to rear wheels.

Coming to petrol engine, the Tigor gets a Revotron 1.2L 3 cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces 85PS at 6,000rpm and churns out 114Nm of max torque at 3,500 rpm. Both the versions of the Tata Tigor will be same with 3,992mm long, 1,677mm wide, and 1,537mm tall. The car has a wheelbase of 2,450mm and ground clearance of 170mm.

On the interior, Tigor sedan include ConnectNext Touchscreen Infotainment System by Harman, Multi-information display on the instrument panel, 8 speakers, and mounted steering controls along with others. New Tata Tigor will be rolled out from March 29, 2017, and will be a great performer in the segment.
