Japanese smartphone giant Sony may launch a couple of new smartphones at IFA 2016. Reportedly, Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ, these Sony smartphones are widely expected to launch on 24 September. A leaked specification sheet is out ahead of its release. It is also mentioned in the company official Site about the release of the Sony Xperia X Compact and Xperia XZ.

As per the sources, the expected Specifications for Xperia XZ may include a 5.2-inch curved 2.5D glass display. The device may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. On camera font, the smartphone may sport a 23 MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual LED flash. A 13 MP front facing camera is expected for selfies.

Another anticipated smartphone suggest an expectation which includes a display of 4.6-inch and a powerful battery of 2700mAh. The headset may house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. These all the information provided about this phone as some media reports suggest this device might be Xperia XR smartphone.

Both the devices may roll out with a newly revised USB Type-C connectivity. Leaked images on the internet are viral which are claiming to be the Xperia X Compact. Recently, Sony has confirmed that it will be releasing an Android 7.0 update for selected range of Xperia devices. However, the company upheld the update would be made available for Xperia Z3+, Xperia XA, Xperia Z5,  Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia Z5 Compact,  Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia X Performance devices.

Sony hasn’t unveiled the exact time when the update will roll out for these devices. Earlier, Sony announced its statement that it will release new phones which provide photos without blur. This indicates the Sony will add OIS to its primary camera.  Much more information will be revealed next week after Sony holds its IFA event.
