Sony has unveiled another new entry-level smartphone to its Xperia line up. New Sony Xperia L1 packs some highlights like sharp display with a nearly edge-to-edge screen. Sony continued its design policy of bezel-less display and rounded edges for better grip. The company had also launched Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones in the MWC last month.

Coming to the specs sheet, Sony Xperia L1 features 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. The device is powered by 1.45GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit Processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU. It boasts 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 256 GB with micro SD card. Xperia L1 measures 151 x 74 x 8.7 mm in dimensions and Weights around 180g.

Xperia L1 from Sony offers Dual SIM connectivity and runs latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. On camera font, the device gets a 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash and f/2.2 aperture. Another 5MP front facing camera is also provided with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

Other connectivity options in the Sony Xperia L1 include FM Radio, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and Bluetooth 4.2. The device is backed by 2620mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging support.

As of now, there is no info about the launch of the device and expect to roll out in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and America in April. Sony Xperia L1 price is highly unpredictable at this moment, but the details will be unveiled at the launch event. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, and Pink color options.
