Remember that Bahubali singer who sang ‘Manohari’ song in Telugu version? The name Revanth LV needs no introduction to Telugu audience. Now, this south Indian playback singer has lifted up the Indian Idol 9 trophy. The singer has proved his talent in Telugu and Kannada film industry earlier. Revanth gained all the attention of the fans right from the starting of the show.

Revanth has lent his voice for over 200 songs in various languages in South Indian film industry. Earlier, he has won several awards for his tracks in films which include India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali. Interestingly, the trio of judges- Farah Khan, Sonu Nigam, Anu Malik has observed in the show after season 2. This Sony Entertainment Television show Indian Idol 9 has got a prominent fans base among music lovers.

On the other hand, Indian Idol 9 finale has witnessed the master blaster’s TV debut. Legendary cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar himself has handled over the Indian Idol 9 trophy to the winner. Besides the title, Revanth has won a Mahindra KUV100, prize money of Rs 25 lakh and a music contract with Sony Music.

“Right now I am on cloud nine. I am very happy for winning the show. I would say that my life has just begun right now. It’s not easy to win that title being a South Indian singer. I saw this show as a big opportunity. The four-month journey in this show has completely changed my life,” said, Revanth in overwhelmed joy.

Another Punjab-based singer Khuda Baksh stood as the first runner-up and PVNS Rohit, another Hyderabadi bagged the second runner-up. Though these contestants got judges appraisal for various performances, the voting process prioritized Revanth.
