Reliance is expanding its product lineup with the launch of its new smartphone Lyf water 8. Indicating the company is not getting slowdown soon. Reliance Lyf Water 8 release date and specifications were announced as the device is ready for consumers in the country.
This exclusive Reliance retail brand of smartphone marked the company’s entry into the 4G segment. Beginning its launch in 2016, the brand launched its handsets under four versions. Contrast to its name, and Reliance Lyf Water 8 does not offer water-resistant. And also Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE SIM’s will work on Lyf Water 8.

The device comes out with a 5-inch touch screen AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 pixels at a PPI of 294 pixels per inch. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon TM 615 processor. The phone packs 3GB of RAM with 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB with provided microSD card slot. On the camera front, Lyf Water 8 features a primary camera of 13MP with a LED flash and a 5MP front camera.
Dual SIM option enabled with only one SIM can support 4G at a time, and the phone accepts MIicro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Lyf Water 8 offers a wide range of connectivity which includes Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, 3G, and 4G.

The phone measures dimensions of 142mm X 70.5mm X 7.0mm and weighs about 122.0 grams. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a 2600mAh battery which provides a talk time up to 10 hours and a standby up to 320 hours. The phone offers an excellent feature for mass storage featuring USB 2.0, Micro USB and USB OTG.
