After hitting a massive user base, Reliance India Limited is now launching new Fiber Internet services. This Reliance Jio Fiber or Jio Fiber service is under test and will be offering a pilot version in Mumbai. These new Broadband services from Reliance break the traditional broadband plans and provide a speed of 1Gbps Fibre-to-Home broadband. New Jio GigaFiber service is a wired system of networks.
It is reported that, users who seem got access to try the free 90-days trial of new GigaFiber service. Users reportedly observed an upload and download speed of 90Mbps after checking out the network. The trial has been initiated in Mumbai and Pune which is believed as the business capital and gives the impression on Reliance Jio GigaFiber wired broadband service and may make its debut officially.

According to reports, Jio GIgaFiber internet broadband tariff plans would start from just Rs.500 for 100Mbps. The company hasn’t mentioned about the limitations of the plans. At this moment, it is unclear that if any data limit would be imposed on the 1Gbps plan.
Reliance Jio is planning to make the service available across the top 100 cities in India. Noting that the country bags 144 rank globally in internet speed with an average of just 3.5 Mbps. This average rate is decided by the state-run BSNL which is most popular in India. BSNL recently announced a new broadband plan which provides a speed of 1Mbps @ Rs.249 per month and also announced a minimum FUP speed of 1Mbps on all plans from 9 September 2016.
