Design:

LYF F1 is a quite slim phone with a thickness of 7.9mm. Built with plastic frame, you don’t feel the phone very hefty. LYF F1 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels resolution at 400 pixels per inch.  The Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the top resists scratches up to a far extent. The smartphone offers a good display with great experience of viewing a 5.5-inch phone. Display performs well with good brightness and does offer high-quality viewing experience.

Properties are keen, and images are punchier in the gamut. You don’t find any complaints with the color reproduction as well. Touch sensibility is also good, which users doubt about in an LYF brand. Viewing angles are good, and readability in sunlight is also manageable in its range.

Performance:

LYF F1 is powered by an -core Snapdragon 617 SoC processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The combo offers a good performance without any major issues. The phone performs all the regular activities with ease, and you won’t find any hiccups even while multitasking. The specs and Marshmallow UI helps the performance and multitasking go smooth.

The phone offers its best even while gaming. You may find LYF F1 a bit warming up while playing heavy games like Asphalt 8. The Smart Tray app provides a shortcut of 15 apps if you swipe it diagonally from the bottom corners of the screen.

You can alter incoming call based on the gestures like flip to mute, or based on ambient sound. The video player lets you load two videos side-by-side and play them simultaneously. Smart Play feature will pause videos when you’re head is off the screen. This employs front camera to track the head movement and pause the video if you tilt you head to one side. Camera:

Camera Department of LYF F1 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera with PDAF support. Pictures are fair bit and detail with vibrant colors in normal daylight. The sensor fails to produce details of the objects which are a bit far away. Autofocus speeds are brilliant even when moving from one subject to another. Low-light shots are not up to the mark, and you find some color noise when in dark areas. Provided flash also failed to assist when in the dark.
