Lava, the Indian mobile manufacturer well known for their budget smartphones has added two smartphones to their list. Naming as Lava A50 and Lava A55 were unveiled on their official website.
The major difference between these New Lava Smartphones is the RAM. Lava A55 features 1GB RAM while the A50 device is built with 512MB RAM. The smartphone’s memory can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
Talking about the specifications, both A50 and A55 were built with a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Lava A55 and Lava A50 has a 4-inch WVGA Display and a 8GB ROM. These two basic level smartphones from Lava comes with a 5MP Rear Camera along with a LED Flash. The secondary camera is VGA camera which would be common for the entry level smartphones of this range.
Other camera options include the Zooming feature Slow motion, Time lapse, and Face beauty.The specific absorption rate (SAR) value is not mentioned by the manufacturer.
The new lava smartphones are powered by a 1550 mAh Li-ion Battery and support dual sim.Lava offers one-year manufacturer warranty for Phone and six months warranty for in-box accessories. Both the entry-level smartphones looked similar and differed only in some aspects.Although the availability details are not revealed yet, Lava A50 comes with a price tag of Rs 3,999 whereas its sibling Lava A55 is priced at Rs.4,399
