The popular photo-sharing platform, Instagram is taking a step forward against the online harassment. Unlike the Twitter, Instagram is now ready to combat the harassment problem of people on the internet. Instagram is working on anti-harassment or abuse prevention tools which help users to set up word filter.

According to The Washington Post reports, the word filter feature will help you to stop unwanted words or comments to post on your pictures. Reports also claim that you might get an ability to turn off the comments on the photos which you do not wish to get. So, you can disable comments per-post-basis rather than put it out for all posts.

Instagram is currently testing the feature on “high- profile” celebrity accounts. Reports say that the feature will be first rolled to them and then to other masses in the coming next weeks. The feature is useful to the one who would not like to see few words in the comment box, as you can ban the certain offensive words and phrases on your photos. We are not sure whether this would make a significant difference, but sure this feature will help out to some extent.
