Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is a self-governing agency in India which started its operation in the year 1975 as Personnel Selection Services (PSS). IBPS announced Common Written Examination (CWE) in the year 2011 for the recruitment of officers and clerks in one of the 21 participating Indian banks.
IBPS CWE is made mandatory for the candidates who want to seek employment in 29 Public sector and regional rural banks. Recently the officials have published the notification of Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I, II and III posts. Interested candidates who are waiting for the bank jobs for a long time have applied.
The officials successfully conducted the preliminary examination for Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant on respective dates. For the qualified candidates, they held mains exam on 18th November 2016 and 11th November (single exam for Officer Scale-II, III).
