Institute of Personnel Banking Selection (IBPS) is the organization that provides its services for many government banks, private banks, and other govt departments in recruitment process. IBPS has changed the Exam pattern for PO and Clerk posts Single Exam to Prelims & Mains. Preliminary examination is conduct for 100 Marks with 100 Questions in 01 Hour duration. The topics covered in prelims are Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and General English. This year 2016, Main examination paper is slightly changed with Time cut off for each section. I.e. Mains Exam having five sections 3 of Prelims, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness with special reference to Banking.

English Language Section having 30 Questions for 30 Marks. Paper having Comprehension Passage, Ordering of jumbled sentences, One word substitution, spotting errors & Commonly misspelled words. IBPS PO Prelims English section is little bit tough and it takes 15 to 20 minutes to give 18 to 24 questions.

Quantitative Aptitude or Numerical Ability section having 35 questions for 35 marks. Though questions are known and it takes much time to solve it. An average person can give 20 to 22 questions in 25 to 30 minutes to cover all questions and attempt. Reasoning looks like easy but some part of seating arrangement, number sequences took time to solve.
