As we know, people across India are facing severe troubles over the ban of Rs 500 and 1000 notes. Even the banks are working continuously, due to lack of pre-planned arrangements from Government, public is still facing troubles to get money from banks and ATMs.

Earlier Opposition parties and common public were also questioned the Government that how wedding ceremonies will take place if you put the limitations on Withdrawal or exchanging money.

A day after the opposition smashes out at the Government over the ban of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Economic Affairs Secretary, Shaktikanta Das announced that “The families who have wedding ceremonies can withdraw up to Rs 2.5 lakh from an account. The Government has also decided to allow farmers to draw up to Rs 25,000 per week against crop loans approved and credited to their accounts. Farmers will able to bring Rs 25,000 per week from the account and receive either by cheque or cash which is credited to RTGS account.”

He also added that “Time limit for paying crop loan insurance will extend by 15 days.” Another important message has given by Das on exchanging old 500 and 1000 notes. In a note, he mentioned that from November 18, exchange limit reduced to 2000 from 4500. The Important thing is that the money is to be withdrawn must be in the name of farmer only.
