The special event for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) has already planned on January 4 in New Delhi. The special event will be hosted by Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Union IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. Apart from these, a few Google officials will also attend this special event and communicate with Small Business people.

At the special event, Sundar Pichai will concentrate on Google partnering with Indian small business to help them unlock exponential growth through the digital power and how digital will be more important for them. Previously Google said that India is a considered market for its Small and Medium Businesses and thrown the Google for Business Solution that allows small businesses to find customers online in their native place.

Over the past few years, Google has been actively participated in India and proved is significance. Earlier both Google India and Ministry of Consumer Affairs united to spread awareness about online safety among Indian web users as a part of the “Digitally Safe Campaign.” Recently Google has also launched free Wi-Fi services at 400 railway stations across India and Ooty became the 100th train station in the list to obtain Google’s free Wi-Fi services.

The Google Allo app and Google Assistant Virtual Helper were the new outcomes from the company and YouTube Kids app also launched in India for growing babies.

Sundar Pichai came to India once previously in December last year after he became the chief executive Officer of the company.  He had visited India a few weeks before his appointment as Google CEO at the time when he was the head of Android to launch the prestigious Android one project.

Exciting news is that Google CEO Sundar Pichai will meet the students and professors of IIT Kharagpur on January 5, where he has obtained B.Tech degree from IIT Kharagpur. The director of IIT Kharagpur Partha PratimChakrabarti said, “Pichai has expressed his desire to visit the campus in the first week of January 2017. Pichai had completed his B.Tech in IIT Kharagpur in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
