Fortune was founded by the Time co-founder Henry Luce in the year 1929. It was a multinational business magazine which was published and owned by Time Inc and has its headquartered in New York City. The rival magazines of Fortune are Forbes and Bloomberg Businessweek in the national business magazine category. It is best known for the Fortune 500, and a ranking will be given to the companies annually. Fortune releases the ranking lists since 1955. Recently they released the list of top CEO’s of major companies. The list is as follows

Mary T Barra: is the Chairwoman, Chief Executive Officer of the General Motors Company. She was the first female of the major automobile maker. Barra was featured on the cover of Times “100 Most Influential People in the World”. She was held as the CEO of General Motors Company since 15th January 2014. She repeats and topped the magazine’s list of ‘Most Powerful Women’.

Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi: is a business executive and the current Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo. It is her 10th year as CEO but shows no sign of slowing down. It is the second-largest food and beverage business by net revenue in the world. She constantly ranked among the list of most powerful women. Indra Nooyi ranked 13 in the list of among World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
