Coolpad launched the Cool 1 Dual in India, the first product of combined LeEco and Coolpad. Coolpad Cool 1 has been introduced back in August and is now made available in two variants. With unique design and premium looks, Coolpad Cool 1 is out online and offline depending on the variant. The phone has a small branding difference between the Chinese unit and the Indian unit. While the Chinese variant says “cool,” Indian variant wraps with the brand “Coolpad.”
Coolpad Cool 1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS in-cell display with 450nits brightness. The 72% NTSC color gamut offers a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 403 ppi pixel density. It does pack a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The device measures 152 × 74.8 × 8.2mm in dimensions and weighs around 167g.

Coolpad Cool 1 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 510 GPU. The device is available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB internal memory. Coolpad Cool 1 runs on LeEco’s EUI 5.8 operating system based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone packs dual nano SIMs for better connectivity.
On camera font, Coolpad Cool 1 sports a 13MP dual rear camera of f/2.0 aperture, with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. Another 8MP front facing camera of f/2.2 aperture is provided with 80-degree wide-angle lens. Coolpad Cool 1 camera is also capable of recording a 720p slow motion video at 120fps.
Along with Infrared sensor, Coolpad Cool 1 specs includes other connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, GPS, USB Type C. Sensors range includes an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, proximity sensor and a magnetometer. The device is backed by a 4000mAh (4,060mAh typical) battery with fast charging support.

The smartphone will be available in Gold and Silver color variants. Coming to the price, Coolpad Cool 1 price in India is about Rs.13999. While the 4GB RAM model will exclusively available online, the 3GB RAM model will only be available at offline retail stores. However, the company hasn’t unveiled any date regarding the offline sales, and the online sale will go on from 5 January.
