After Uri’s attack, the recent hide out is Baramulla government building hideout encounter, Indian army is conducting search operations throughout Srinagar.

Station House Officer (SHO) has conducted the operations to find out the hideouts and suspected after the increase in terror activities in the district. It is informed that at least 44 suspects were taken into custody. Along with that a large number of hideout places were busted.

On the other, LeT group has issued a warning to the Baramulla SHO for conducting such search operations. The militant group based in Pakistan has stated that severe consequences will be faced if the operations continue.

Around 700 houses in old town of Baramulla of North Kashmir, the house-to-house search operations were conducted by the SHO.

In the army, BSF and the CRPF joint search operations, they found explosives on a large scale. The explosives like Petrol bombs, Pakistan flags, China flags, LeT and Jaish-e-Mohummed (JeM) letter pads, illegal mobile phones and other seditious material were seized.

The search operations were conducted by completely taking control over the area. All the routes into the town were seized by the army personnel before they started the search operations.

Baramulla SSP, Imtiyaz Hussain Mir has stated that the search operations were conducted on the basis of confirmed secret agencies information of the presence and hiding of the militants.

It is believed that many militants has taken the refugee in the area and operating their anti-national activities from the hide-outs.
