India’s telecom company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has decided to double the download speed for all the existing broadband plans. The speed of FUP usage existing quota has been increased from 512 kbps to 1 Mbps. The changes will effect from August 1, 2016, on Pan India basis.

So finally BSNL is going to end the kbps speed and invites the Mbps speed. BSNL offers the 2mbps download speed for every broadband plan with the FUP speed limit. When the usage of user gets exhausted, then the speed of the plan will be reduced to the 512 kbps, but BSNL has increased the FUP speed to 1 Mbps.  This information from BSNL is released recently, and the plans will get effected from next month.

After taking lot of considerations and requests, BSNL has announced regarding the change in the plans, in each and every unlimited broadband tariff plans after FUP speed, BSNL to offer the minimum double speed. This is one of the best and major changes in the plans of BSNL so far.

Now a days, BSNL involves much more in the data business. From recent times BSNL is stressing and concentrating on the BSNL data plans.

Meanwhile, the users who are using the unlimited broadband plans, requesting the ISP (Internet service provider) to hike the minimum FUP speed to the mbps. This time, BSNL has agreed to provide the minimum speed of 1mbps after the FUP limit. So the users even after completing the usage of the data can enjoy the minimum speed of 1 mbps all the way till the end of the month.
