Looking for an Android device bigger than your smartphone with 4G network? Here is a new affordable slate for you. Asus teams up with Verizon to unveil a new 7.9-inch tablet, the ZenPad Z8. The all new Z8 is available for $250. You can pre-order your ASUS ZenPad Z8 from Verizon for $0 down and $10.41 for 24 months. And if you go with a two-year contract you can get the device for $149.99.

Well, going into the specifications of the tablet, the device packs a high resolution 2048×1536 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core 64-bit processor, pair of front-facing speakers, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, expandable through microSD card. The device is a Verizon exclusive which supports a 4G LTE connectivity and comes with a SIM card preinstalled, in an addition to 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

The ZenPad 8 features an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a front facing 2-megapixel unit. The device is absolutely small and light at 8.08 x 5.37 x .30 inches and 11.29 ounces which runs the latest version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It uses the USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The battery lasts for 13 hours as it is powered by a 4680 mAh non-removable battery. And the other feature is your ZenPad Z8 allows you to make and receive video calls when connected to your smartphone. The smartphone should be capable of HD voice, video calling and Verizon Message app.
