Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is also known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) was established on 8th May 2000. The technical education includes programmes of education, research and training in Engineering, Architecture, Town Planning, Pharmacy and Applied Arts.
