Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajpathi Raju has launched the AirSewa portal and the mobile app as an initiative step to address the problems of flyers related to travel, flight delay, refunds, lost baggage and other things.

The aviation ministry said that the new interactive web AirSewa portal and mobile app has made available for the both Android and iOS users. In a bid to help the travellers, the government has come up with this portal and mobile app to provide a comfortable and hassle-free travel experience.

“AirSewa is an initiative to offer people a convenient and hassle-free air travel experience,” said by the Ashok Gajpathi Raju. He also added that it is necessary to recognise the problems of people facing and make sustainable systematic improvements.

The Ministry has elaborated to the passengers that they can now able to register their grievances through a web portal or mobile app. “Nodal officers have been selected for all stakeholder agencies, who will address the complaint in a time-bound manner.”

“Each grievance shared will be directed to the responsible nodal agency for resolution based on the claim category chosen by the complainant.” the Ministry said in a statement.

Users will be provided with respective reference numbers to track the flight status, schedule between any of the airports through the particular search options (portal or app). AirSewa portal provides complete details about flight delays, refunds, complaints about lost luggage and makes you free from long queues.
