Inside Tirumala Tirupati: Documentary Film on Lord Venkateswara to be telecasted today

National Geographic Channel had made a documentary on one of India’s most sacred place Tirumala Tirupati. NGC named the prestigious documentary as ” Inside Tirumala Tirupati” The first premiere of the documentary film will be Telecasted today, i.e., 27th of March at 9 pm on National Geographic Channel.

Considered as the God of the Gods by the Hindus, Tirumala is one of the largest religious places in India. Daily thousands of people visit Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala and offer gifts to the almighty. Daily thousands of individuals visit Tirumala on foot by
who scaling the Seshachalam or Seven Hills.

Award Winning Documentary Filmmaker Rajendra Srivathsa Kondapalli worked  as the Director of this sacred documentary movie. Speaking on the idea of the film Rajendra said that “I approached Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to feature their Annaprasadam kitchens in one of the episodes. After extensive recce and research, I felt there was a much bigger story to the Tirumala Temple beyond just its kitchen. That’s how the idea germinated, to tell a larger story,”

The TTD board under the supervision of Andhra Pradesh Government supervises all the development activities in Tirumala. Strict rules are implemented at the premises of the temple. No Cameras or cell phones are allowed inside Tirumala Temple. However, The NGC’s award winning Filmmaker was granted permission to shoot inside the temple.

According to an official statement,” the documentary exclusively offers a journey into what the faithful believe is the spiritual home of Sri VenkateswaraSwamy, the benevolent form of the Hindu god Vishnu.”

It also stated that “While most pilgrims wait in line for hours for a fleeting glimpse of the deity, this film allows viewers to experience the temple and its surroundings like an insider would, including getting a front-row seat to witness the spectacular annual celebration of Brahmostavam – an event that attracts such massive crowds that it makes the Tirumala temple one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimages in the world,” it said

AP CM Chandrababu Announced Rs 100 Crore Reward for anyone who Wins Nobel Prize from Andhra

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced a huge prize money to boost young talent in the state. Babu attended as a chief guest during the inauguration of Indian Children’s Science Congress at Sri Padmavati Women’s University at Tirupati. Speaking in the event, he announced that his government would give prize money of Rs 100 crore to the person who wins Nobel Prize from Andhra Pradesh state.

The announcement is first of its scale for any academic achievement, in a country where cash prizes for sportspersons winning international medals like those in Olympics are not rare. Recently we saw Olympic badminton silver medallist PV Sindhu was showered with cash inducements running into nearly Rs 20 crore by various governments and organizations.

Naidu announced this bumper offer during the inauguration of Indian Children’s Science Congress at Sri Padmavati Women’s University at Tirupati on the offshoots of 104th Indian Science Congress. Addressing to the young talent, he said, “India has not been able to produce many Nobel Prize winning scientists despite having plentiful talent. Moreover, those who had won the prize had settled in other countries. There is a lot of possibility among the youngsters in the state, and I am sure, if they are heartened, Nobel Prize will come to the feet.”

“In this connection, Chandra Babu made an interesting statement that if any scientist from AP state who will win Nobel Prizes will get a reward of Rs 100 crore as prize money. I would like to tell young and talented scientists to take this opportunity as a challenge and boost. It only depends on your hard work, and I hope you can do it. The prize money is simply to encourage guys, and you can work hard for Nobel prize and bring glory to India and our state,” he added.

IRCTC Offers a Special Tour Package for the Pilgrim and Picnic Spots

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has introduced special trains for the tourists who wish to travel domestically and Internationally. As a part of the package a new tour has been announced for the pilgrimage wishers.

11 days of “Mata Vaishno Devi North India Tour” by IRCTC and Sabarimalai, Tirupati, Goa – Flight.

In the 11 days of travelling, Railway authorities are providing Morning breakfast to Night dinner that too according to regional tastes.

In a statement, IRCTC DGM Sanjeevaiah said that all the categories of travelling passengers will be facilitated with the ‘Darshan tickets’ and other facilities. Moreover special concessional fares have been announced for the travel.

Ayyappa Darshan Tour 

Starting from Nov 25th, 26th and December 2nd, 3rd,16th and 17th dates Airways have been announced by IRCTC. From Hyderabad the flight starts in the morning 8.55 A.M and reached Kochi at 10.25 A.M. The flights are from Hyderabad to Kochi.

From Kochi IRCTC provided vehicle will carry the passengers with a site show of 2 hrs backwater joy, Vaikam temple, and by evening 7.00 PM the visitors will be dropped near Pamba river. From there with all Ayyappa devotees, they have to travel by walk to the main temple.

Next day at 10 AM, the passengers will be picked at the same spot where they are dropped on the previous day. They will be shown all the near site seeing places like Guruvayur Srikrishna temple, Mammayur temple, Elephant caves etc. The total package of this tour is Rs.14,510.

Tirupati 

Hyderbad to Tirupati is the tour. With every 11 members a batch is formed. Two days and one night is the package. The dates for this travel is November 4th,18th,25th and December 2nd,9th 16th. Morning 9.25 from Hyderabad and reach Tirupati by 10.45 AM.

Return journey will be on 8.10 PM and reach Hyderabad by 9.35 PM. 11 days “Vaishnodevi Temple” Yaatra 

Special Train will start on Nov 8th from Kacheeguda Station and return on Nov 18th. Renigunta, Cuddapah, Erraguntla, Taadipatri, Kurnool, Mehaboob nagar, and Kaajipet are also covered apart from Kacheeguda.

At first Jammu - Katra Vaishno devi will be visited first. Amritsar, Jallian-wala-Bagh, Golden temple, Haridwar, River Ganges (Ganga), Manasa devi temple, Delhi, Mathura - sriKrishna birth place, Agra - Taj Mahal, will be a part and parcel of the tourist places.

All the vehicles will be provided for road transportation by IRCTC only.

Sleeper class Rs.9,625 and 3-tier AC class Rs.13,075 is the price of the tickets per head.

Goa Tour 

This is a four day tour starts in the months of Feb and Mar. The airways will start its tour on Feb 16th and Mar 10th from Hyderabad. By 12.50 PM Goa will be reached.

The tourists spots include south Goa, Meermaar, Ols Goa Church, Mangesia temple, donapal Beach, River Juvari, Margoa Herbal, River Mandova boat travel, Condolim beach, Baga beach, and Anjunaa beach. The fare is fixed as Rs.18, 123 per head.
