Netflix marks its first acquisition, Buys Scottish comic book publisher Millarworld

Netflix, one of the famous online entertainment platforms announced its merger with the Scotland comic book firm, Millarworld. This marks the first-ever acquisitions made by Netflix company. The collaboration of the two companies will bring Millarworld comic characters into life through series, kid shows and movies which are only available for Netflix members.

Mark Millar, who runs Millarworld said, “In love with what Netflix is doing and excited by their plans. Netflix is the future and Millarworld couldn’t have a better home,”

On company’s first acquisition, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said that “We are looking forward to creating new Netflix Originals from several existing franchises as well as new super heroes, fantasy, sci-fi and horror stories Mark (Millar) and his team will continue to create and publish.” Netflix agrees to buy Millarworld for an undisclosed amount, the company said in a statement.
