Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, is the main board of school education in Jammu and Kashmir State. It is an autonomous body under the administration of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir. The board has more than 10,609 schools across the state affiliated under it and employs around 22,300 teachers.

Recently they conducted Class 10 and 12 Bi-annual (private) winter-zone examinations in the month of October and ended in November. Hence a huge number of candidates appeared for the examinations at pre-decided exam centres.
