Bali, an Indonesia Island which is famous for its beautiful locations, beaches and coral reefs topped the list of most desirable honeymoon spot preferred by Indian couples. A survey is conducted based on the customer inquiries for honeymoon packages.
The honeymoon is an intimate affair that most couples choose to plan on their own at least six months to a year in advance. Indians love to travel to beach destinations that offer visa-on-arrival options. As honeymoon packages are slowly growing in India, Bali becomes the most visited place by Indian couples followed by Maldives and Thailand, said a survey.
The study was done by Ezeego1’s based on analysis of inquiries made by Indians for honeymoon packages made online between January and June 2017.

Maldives is the home for great luxury hotels, beaches, blue lagoons and extensive reefs. It secured second place in the survey. Maldives is the preferred holiday destination for most of the Bollywood celebrities, making it even more exciting for Indian couples.
Thailand has secured the third place by attracting Indians with its royal palaces and tropical beaches. Thailand becomes the most budget friendly honeymoon spot catering to all kind of needs and budgets.
According to the survey, Greece and Paris remained evergreen and most affordable that never before with the falling value of Euro. The study further added Seychelles is developing in a big way and emerging in to most attractive honeymoon place. Air Seychelles has started direct flights between Mumbai and Seychelles five times a week which increased the growth of Indian honeymooners.
Mauritius, famous for its exotic locations, climate, marine life and excellent beaches secured seventh place in the survey. Sri Lanka secured ninth position because of its short haul options and affordable getaway. Scotland and Budapest made it to top 10 and are believed to be most romantic destinations.
