HP unveils Omen Series Gaming Laptops and Desktop in India

HP is expanding its gaming segment in PCs with the latest Omen series in India. The company has unveiled five notebooks, one desktop model, one monitor and other accessories in the HP Omen Series. The series will be available in India on www.hpshopping.in and selected HP World stores starting this March 15. The windows 10 Home-based desktop and laptops pricing starts at Rs 79990.

“Gaming industry in India is almost Rs 3,000 crore right now which will become bigger as we move forward. To address a new segment of the market which has not been met by HP so far but offers huge potential to growth, we have launched a range of gaming devices,” says, Rajiv Srivastava, Managing Director at HP Inc. India.

HP Omen series features the latest seventh generation Intel Core i7 processors coupled with Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics. The HP Omen 17 model flaunts VR ready platform, and the base model sports a 17.3-inch full-HD display.

It is powered by a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 6GB GDDR5 video memory, 1TB 7200RPM HDD with 128GB SSD storage, and Bang & Olufsen audio with dual speakers. The Omen 17 price in India starts at Rs 139990.

Coming to the HP Omen 15 base model, it sports a 15.6-inch full-HD display. The laptop is powered by a 7th gen 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor, 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Pricing of the laptop starts at Rs 79,990.

HP Omen 870 desktop price starts at Rs 1,39,990 and does pack competing features in the segment. The PC comes with a 3GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics and 16GB DDR4 RAM. The desktop is powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor clocked at 4.2GHz. It does pack a 128GB SSD and 2TB 7200RPM HDD.

HP Omen Series in India also comes partnered with Steel-Series which include a Mouse, Mouse-pad, keyboard and headset priced at Rs. 2,199, Rs. 5,499, Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 7,499 respectively.

HP Company has unveiled its new products at CES 2017 at Las Vegas. This year company has announced many products at the Consumer Electronics Show with the name of Spectre x360, Elite Book x360,HP Envy Curved All-In-One 34, Omen X35 curved display, Sprout Pro and many other products.

The HP Spectre x360 is a beautiful all-metal convertible notebook design. It is equipped with most powerful Intel Kaby Lake-U (i5 and i7) engine and tremendous versatility switching between notebook and tablet modes.

It also included in the seventh generation model with intel core i7. It ships with an HP Premium Lifestyle Wireless Keyboard with volume control and optical mouse.

HP unveiled a new convertible laptop aiming school students. The company rolls out military standard certified new ProBook x360 Education Edition. Hp claims the laptop can to withstand accidental spills and drops by kids. The latest laptop is going to be made available on December 16 worldwide. HP ProBook x360 will be the world’s thinnest, most rugged 2-in-1 laptop out there.

The new laptop from HP comes with a 360-degree hinge which completely rotates into a tablet. The hinge also acts as a tent stand for easy viewing. The gadget is equipped with a dual camera with 1080p resolution HD camera. The camera on the Keyboard allows users to take video in tablet mode as well.

HP ProBook x360 runs on the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The 11-inch laptop is encased in hard, industrial rubber. A Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display which is optional. The test includes dropping the laptop from 30 inches to ascertain its durability.
