Facebook wins the trademark case in China.

Facebook had won the case regarding the issue of the trademark in China. Beijing court had given the judgement on the case filed against the trademark. Zhongshan-based Zhujiang Beverage company sells the milk flavoured drinks and porridge. This beverage product company has registered the name “face book” in the year 2011.

Regarding the Trademark, this company faced the issues with the Facebook Inc. But in 2014, this company has gained the approval of the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board. FaceBook has blocked China since 2009, But Mark Zuckerberg, who had married to the Chinese went on a charm offensive to make access to the China Market. In the recent visit to China, Mark had a met Liu Yunshan, China’s Propaganda Chief and Jack Ma.

The court mentioned “ violated moral Principles” with the obvious intention to duplicate and copy from another high-profile trademark. Initially, Instagram had only the Profile name and you can give the short description. Website details can be added to your profile. But in this future update, you can get the contact button beside the follow option, where the users can get connected easily. Once you click on the “Contact” button, the options like Get directions and Email are shown.

The new changes in Instagram brought panic to its users

Location tag which allows you to enter the details of your business location and users can navigate through the maps from the respective location assigned. You can mark the category of your business which is indicated on the profile. All these features soon roll out on the Instagram Application.

The screenshots regarding this update are shared on a blog called later.com, and you can notice that the details on the screens were on the iOS platform. The Instagram Profiles can be categorized which is similar to the pages on the Facebook.

This update is currently not available for the users. Some users got this app for the testing and to inform the changes. The information regarding the release are yet to know or when these features will roll out to everyone.

The company recently announced that it will launch a video carousel ads, which let the advertisers share up to five separate videos with one single ad purchase. Each video duration is about 60 seconds.

As of today, everyone is well aware of the voice assistants which all the leading platforms are providing. Most popular of them are Apple’s Siri and Cortana of Windows. Now a new voice-based virtual assistant which works on Artificial Intelligence is on the cards and would be unveiled within a week. It can do various things and go well ahead of the apple’s assistant regarding performance. The new AI assistant would more flexible and would give the feel of a human assistant. It was developed with a vast database along with the significant partnerships of third party services.

Siri’s creators Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer had integrated these kinds of functionalities in Siri but later trimmed by the Apple management as they have different views. They are planning to avail Viv to various platforms as a part of their goals and they don’t want to repeat the mistake of selling it to others as they have done in the case of Siri.

It is reportedly known that Facebook and Google had already trying to own Viv due to its high potential. The developers of Viv are still working on the new technology and want their new assistant inside TV’s and cars. More information would pop out soon as Viv would be revealed to the world on May 9 at an event called Major Industry Conference.

Facebook has released their Quarterly Report for the year 2016. They had posted this in Facebook community update on 27 April 2016. Facebook Community has reached 1.65 Billion users each month in the Q1 2016.

Facebook has launched some fresh and unique features this year. Facebook rolled out Live Video, which helps to go live up to 30 min. Launched reactions (Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry) to post using the emoticons. The Oculus Rift had shipped with more than 50 games and applications. 25 Million Are connected via Internet.org. Facebook also focused on Artificial Intelligence for access to the blind and visually impaired.

Facebook is working hard on every platform, which makes easy in connecting to the world. The efforts of Mark and his team are truly appreciated in working hard to connect each other across the world.

Facebook mentioned their Active users in both desktop and mobile platforms. Here are few statistics, 1.65 billion Monthly active users (up 15 percent year by year), 1.51 Billion Mobile Users (up 21 percent year by year), 1.09 Million Daily Active Users (a 16 percent bump year by year) and 989 Million Daily Active Users On Mobile (a 24 percent increase year by year). The report says that 52% increase year over year. Facebook is accelerating their growth every year regarding users and revenue.

Apart from the Facebook they also mentioned the reports for users other applications. For WhatsApp 1 Billion, 900 million on Messenger and 400 Million Instagram active users each month.

It’s really a great triumph moment for Indian’s that Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg team up to start a foundation in the name of our legendary Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Sergey Brin, Sundar Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg, Brendan Iribe (CEO of Oculus VR) and some fifty other ‘1 percenters’ of Silicon Valley were at Russian billionaire and founder Yuri Milner’s house in Los Altos, there Yuri hosted a private screening and dinner for the film. As per the source reported they came out with tears after watching the film “The Man Who Knew Infinity”, a biopic on Ramanujam.

Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai are deeply moved by the film and decided to create a foundation in the name of Ramanujan.

“The Man Who Knew Infinity” is a British Biographic drama film based on 1991 book by Robert Kanigel. Dev Patel starrer as the real-life Srinivasa Ramanujan, 25 years-old shipping clerk and self taught mathematician who grows up in poor family in Madras, India, earns admittance to Cambridge University during World War I.

Ramanujan made an extraordinary contribution to mathematical analysis, number theory, continued fractions and infinite series, though he had no formal training in pure mathematics.

Srinivasa Ramanujan passes way in 1920, at the time he was just 32.

This film also starts Jeremy Irons, Stephen Fry, Devika Bhise, Toby Jones, and Arundhati Nag. The Man Who Knew Infinity will be on theatres in India on Friday.
