iBall which is popular for manufacturing computer peripherals, tablets, laptops and smart phones has now launched its basic level phone by name Andi i9.  Before this, the company has launched some of the low price phones. Feature phone model iBall Aasaan has been launched at Rs. 2,999. iBall Slide Cuboid Tablet, iBall Andi 4G ARC 2 and iBall Andi 5.5U F2F were also launched as the budget friendly phones.

Andi i9  features a 5-inch FWVGA touch screen and a display has 480 x 854 pixels resolution with density of 196 PPI. A Quad core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A7 SoC coupled with Mali 400MP GPU is provided for the device to perform. 1 GB RAM will facilitate faster operations. Android Marshmallow 6.0 version Operating system is placed on the board.

Lenovo Z2 Plus Launch Date Confirmed in India 

In a row of new launches, Indian gadget market for smartphones will witness another mobile from Lenovo Z2 Plus will launch on 22nd Sep 2016. Invitations in this regard have already sent. In fact, the phone already launched with name Zuk Z2 in the month of May.

But the same will be renamed and launched on the said date as per latest reports. However, Lenovo launched recently three of its new models A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700 in the entry level segment. Now Lenovo Z2 Plus is being launched.

Samsung announces the successor to its earlier clamshell model Galaxy Folder smartphone. Galaxy Folder 2 launched in China this September and the handset was listed in Samsung’s China website. The South Korean mobile manufacturer is trying to rewind the era of Flip phones.

Galaxy Folder was released back in 2013 and was a treat for then Flip phone lovers. Samsung confirmed its launch a couple of months ago and announced the spec sheet. This Dual SIM handset which runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow will surely grab the attention of clamshell model lovers.

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei announced two new smartphones in the IFA 2016 conference held in Germany. Targeting the mid-range users, the company has released the new Huawei Nova and Nova Plus smartphones. The phones don’t have any notable stand out features. Both the handsets have been crafted in aluminum and offer a wide range of colors.

Both the handsets Nova and Nova Plus are powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM. Both the devices provided with a 32GB internal storage and are expandable via microSD up to 128GB. The phones supported dual-SIMs (Nano and Micro) and sported with a fingerprint reader and revised USB type-C port.

The company is planning to launch these mobiles in 50 other territories along with China which includes Germany, France, Canada, and Spain.

Lenovo seems all gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India. After launching the smartphone in China towards the end of May, Lenovo is going to roll out the Zuk Z2 in India.Going by the teaser, it is expected to launch the Z2 Plus, which is the Indian Version of the Zuk Z2. The company is teasing the imminent launch with the caption, “Impatience is a Virtue #FastForward”. There is also an imprint of letter ‘Z’ behind the caption.

The company has teased a new smartphone via its Facebook and Twitter handles. The device is believed to be the successor of the Lenovo ZUK Z1, which was launched in India earlier this year in May with a price tag of Rs. 13,499. Apart from the teaser, there is no word on the date of launch of the new device. But the teaser hints the device is coming soon in India.

The Lenovo Zuk Z2 is far better than Zuk Z1 in almost every sense. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset clubbed with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB internal storage, but there is no option to expand it using micro SD card.

Talking about the photography department, the Lenovo Zuk Z2 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and 4K video recording capabilities.There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front portion of f/2.0 aperture and 80 degrees wide angle lens that can take awesome selfies.

There is a new feature of U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint scanner which is capable of recognizing wet fingerprints. It has a battery capacity of 3,500mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Unlike Zuk Z1, the Lenovo Zuk Z2 runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under ZUI 2.0.

Unlike ZUK Z1, the Z2 is priced which is approximately Rs. 18,400. At this price range, there are many smartphones available in them market. The Zuk Z2 smartphone will face competition from the likes of the OnePlus 2 and the Sony Xperia XA to a name few. But with the given specifications, it seems to be punching above its weight compared to Xiomi Mi 5 and OnePlus 3, which also run on Snapdragon 820.
