KTM India has unveiled new generation Duke in the country. New KTM Duke 2017 will host new upgrades in design and technology for the entire range. Interestingly, KTM has launched the Duke 250 in the country to facilitate the mid-range Duke for buyers.

The automotive maker has announced that the booking for the new Duke lineup is available across its dealer chain in India. However, 2017 Duke 200 and the 2017 Duke 250 have already been rolled out, and 2017 Duke 390 will be out in a week time.

The new generation KTM Duke 2017 receives a complete overhaul, and the prices are as follows. New 2017 KTM Duke Price in India is Rs 1,43,500, while the 250 Duke cost you around Rs 1,73,000. Latest 2017 Duke 390 cost you around Rs 2,25,730 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).

2017 KTM Duke 390:

The top-end model gets a complete upgrade and gets a KTM Super Duke R inspired styling. Coming to design, new Duke 390 is now bigger in dimensions and comes with a rear sub frame which exposes the entire setup. The motorcycle gets a full-LED headlamp cluster with an angular design and a LED tail light and indicators. The 11.5-liter fuel tank is now replaced by a 13-liter unit and offers a much better range on the model.

The latest Duke KTM 390 is powered by the same 373.2 cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It does produce 43 bhp of power and churns out 38 Nm torque. The engine is paired to a 6-Speed transmission. You get a new split-function 43mm upside-down WP split front forks and mono shock suspension on the rear. The front brake setup is now improved with a larger 320 mm disc for a better breaking performance. While on the rear, the 230 mm disc remains the same.

2017 KTM Duke 250:

KTM has introduced the Duke 250 in India which the model is already out international markets. The 250 variant gets the similar design of the Duke 390 variant with a host of changes. The full-LED headlamp is replaced with a halogen bulb and integrated LED DRLs.

The 2017 KTM 250 Duke gets the WP USD forks and a mono shock suspension at the rear. The brakes for the bike rely upon the 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc units. The 250 Duke gets the side mounted exhaust but missed the ride-by-wire. Besides that, make use of the older orange backlit instrument console.

New KTM Duke 250 drives power from a new 248.8 cc single-cylinder engine. The motor is tuned to produce 30 bhp and 24 Nm of torque and is paired to 6 Speed transmission. New 250 Duke comes with a slipper clutch, but it does not get adjustable levers. KTM claims that the Duke 250 brings a great performance over the Duke 200. And the KTM Duke 250 price in India Is a great balance between the two variants.

2017 KTM Duke 200:

The existing entry level 200 Duke 2017 model is updated with new graphics and paintwork. Designing of the bike remains same and continues to retain underbelly exhaust instead of the side mounted unit. The 200 cc single-cylinder engine observed on the 2017 RC 200 powers the vehicle.

The engine is now BS IV compliant with no change in power output or mechanicals. The engine is a paired to a 6-speed transmission and produces 25 bhp of power and churns out 19.2 Nm of torque. You also observe few other changes like better seating, wider mirrors and a revised instrument console in the latest 2017 Duke 200.
