The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the 2017 Super Splendor with i3S technology and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO). The company recently launched the Passion Pro with i3S technology in India.
The i3S technology switches off the engine automatically when the engine is idle for five seconds and restarts when you press the clutch. This system helps to enhance the mileage and reduces the fuel consumptions. The capacity of fuel tank is 13 litres.

Hero Super Splendor powered by a 124.7cc cooled engine which delivers 9hp of power at 7,000 rpm and 10.53Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine doesn’t yet confirm with the upcoming BS4 emission norms.
Super Splendor i3S has the same design as the outgoing model with distinguishing i3S on the rear side panels on either side, and it also features new body graphics.
Hero Super Splendor measures 1,995 mm in length, 735 mm in width and 1,095 mm in height. It weighs 121 kg and has a ground clearance of 150 mm. It is available in 5 colors: Candy Blazing Red, Black with Electric Purple, Graphite Black, Vibrant Blue and Black with Fiery Red.

The earlier model by Hero was the Passion Pro which is priced at Rs 50, 955. 2017 Hero Super Splendor i3S is launched with the price tag of Rs 55,275.
